Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Fan Builds Classic Car And Shares Blueprint So You Can Too

Must read

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fans have been hard at work building a plethora of unique and useful creations in the game over the past month, but one redditor has upped the ante by creating a fully-fledged, drivable classic car that some are saying even resembles an old Batmobile.

Reddit user a_little_toaster shared their classic car creation on the r/HyruleEngineering subreddit on Tuesday, prompting widespread adoration and guesses about what type of vehicle it most closely resembles. Though it doesn't appear to have been the original goal, multiple redditors pointed out that it actually looks quite a lot like certain versions of the Batmobile.

Users were so enthralled by the build that a_little_toaster revisited the subreddit with a new post detailing how they made the classic car so other players could put one together in their own game. The video shows the step-by-step process of combining various Zonai devices and materials using the Ultrahand ability, which is a new and integral part of Tears of the Kingdom's gameplay loop.

It's no surprise that players are finding such exciting ways to engage with Tears of the Kingdom, as the game is built from the ground up to encourage experimentation. This level of freedom extends beyond creating items, though, as evidenced by speedrunners who are already completing the game in almost unbelievable amounts of time.

All of this creativity is part of the reason Tears of the Kingdom has become one of the most beloved entries in the franchise's history. In our review, IGN called the game "an unfathomable follow-up to one of the greatest games ever made, somehow improving upon it in nearly every way – be that with simple quality-of-life improvements, a genuinely exciting story, or wildly creative new building mechanics that make you rethink what is possible".
