PS5: Full-Priced First-Party Games Will Seemingly Be $70 USD

Sony has revealed that full-priced first-party PlayStation 5 games will cost $70 at launch, seemingly pointing to a new higher price point on next-gen.Revealed in a PS Blog post after September's PS5 event, games like Demon's Souls and Destruction All Stars will come in at a $70 USD price point, while Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will come in at $50 USD (or $70 USD for the Ultimate Edition) and Sackboy A Big Adventure will be $60 USD.Every Game and Announcement Featured in the PlayStation 5 Showcase EventChanging full-price price points have been a hot topic as next-gen approaches. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has previously defended the company's decision to adopt a $70 price point, but Ubisoft is sticking to $60 for now.
