Update 2/13/19: Reps from Sheck Wes’s legal and management team provided Rolling Stone with the following statement.
“We are actively investigating the allegations against Sheck Wes and are fiercely standing by him through this. He has denied any wrongdoing whatsoever or violence of any kind and we believe him. He will defend himself against this serious defamation of character with any and all legal remedies available and for now will leave this with the legal process. Sheck is a strong supporter of the rights and liberties of all people and is appalled by these wrongful allegations and attempts to assassinate his character. He will no longer sit by and allow these falsehoods to live on any further.”

Roc Nation singer and modelJustine Skyeaccused rapperSheck Wesof physical abuse on Monday, with the 23-year-old claiming that the rapper, whose real nameisKhadimou Rassoul Cheikh Fall, and his associatesstalked Skye and her friends before assaulting her friends. The 23-year-old described the alleged attack on Twitter, with Fall later denying the claims.
“Taking a walk with my friends and my man and Sheck Wes (my abuser) and his friends decide to STALK US and attack my friends,” Skye wrote. “Two cars full of niggas while he sat in the car like a bitch. You’re pathetic sheck and you beat women. You hit your girl before me and you’ll do it again.”
In a later tweet, Justine took rapper Wes, his label (Wes is signed to Cactus Jack and G.O.O.D. Music) and supporters to task for “spreading lies.” Early Tuesday, 20-year-old Wes denied the accusations on Twitter.
“I’ve chosen to remain silent until now out of respect for actual victims of abuse,” Fallwrote. “But I cannot stand by while lies are repeatedly told about me. I never hit or beat any women and I did not beat up or jump anybody.”
After Fall’s denial, Skye shared various forms of proof, including a screenshot of text messages, a video of a man resembling Fallhopping a fence and more detailsof each incident. Once again, Fall denied Skye’s allegations.In October, Justine shared the video for “Build” on Instagram with an accompanying message that described an unnamed abuser who hurt her “mentally and physically.” At the time, Skye explained that she didn’t reveal her abuser’s name, because it wouldn’t matter to most people. Regardless, many started to connect Sheck Wes because of the accusations.
Reps for Skye and Fall did not immediately reply to requests for comment.
